Setup
Connect Google Calendar in the dashboard under Integrations → Google Calendar → Configure. Unlike most tools, there are no API keys to copy:- Pick the agent and the phone number you want to set up.
- Click Connect Google Calendar.
- You are sent to Google to grant calendar access, then returned to the dashboard. We store only a secure token to manage events on your behalf — never your password. Once connected, the card shows Connected as your Google account, and the agent picks up the booking tools automatically. You can disconnect or reconnect any time from the same panel.
Disconnecting
You can remove Google Calendar from a phone number at any time:- Open Integrations → Google Calendar → Configure for that number.
- Click Disconnect.
What the agent can do
Five booking tools are added to the agent automatically once Google Calendar is on. You do not write any prompt for them — the agent uses them when the caller asks.Business hours
The agent offers slots during standard business hours — Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, in 30-minute slots — and books on your account’s primary calendar. It reads your real events first and only offers times that are genuinely free. If a caller asks for a day you are closed (for example a Sunday), the agent says you are closed that day rather than offering times.Example
Caller: “Can I book a check-up for Monday morning?” Agent: “We have nine o’clock or half past nine on Monday. Which works best?” Caller: “Nine o’clock.” Agent: “Lovely. Can I take your name please?” … “And your email?” … “You’re booked for Monday at nine o’clock. [SEND_SMS: Your appointment is confirmed for Monday 9:00am. See you then.]”
Timezone
When a caller says “nine o’clock”, the agent books 9:00 in your business’s local time, with daylight saving handled automatically. This is correct for a clinic or office that callers physically visit.SMS confirmation
The caller automatically receives an SMS whenever an appointment is booked, rescheduled, or cancelled, sent from the same number the call came in on. No extra setup needed.Per-number calendar
Google Calendar is connected per phone number — each number connects its own Google account. Pick the number first, then connect. This lets you run different locations on one agent, each booking into its own calendar.Tips
- The agent confirms the caller’s name and email one at a time, reading each back before booking.
- The connection uses Google’s secure sign-in (OAuth) — only a token is stored, never your password.
- Disconnect any time from the same Configure panel.
